Taking inspiration from a rock rich with history and fossils, this observatory nestled in a cave on an island is defined by imprints, microscopic and macroscopic viewing. Telescopes attached to the observatory pierce through the island to allow pockets of light and areas to view certain constellations during the year. At the center of the observatory is a reflection pool with a conical opening directly above allowing for a passive viewing of the night sky above. The observatory moves with the tide through a buoy-system, allowing visitors to access a walkway to the top of the island at high-tide.
