Sophia Bachas-Daunert is currently pursuing a Masters of Architecture II at Yale University, and received her Bachelors of Architecture at Cornell University with a concentration in architectural science and technology, and a Minor in Environmental Studies and Sustainability.
She has interned at Arquitectonica and 314 Architecture Studio, been a Teaching Fellow at Yale University, and has done research in the Yale Center for Ecosystems and Architecture and the Responsive Architecture + Design Lab.
Her graduate research and thesis focuses on the effects of climate change on natural disasters, and how loss of home, belongings, and memories affect people in vulnerable locations .
